$650.00

Late Victorian Era library lamp (a.k.a. parlor lamp), with new crystals and white, opal glass dome shade.  This electrified kerosene fixture features a very handsome, embossed brass font cover, shade ring, crown, halo and canopy, with dark, antique brass patina.  The curled, brass ribbon is also embossed with designs, while the finial, cast brass, has a kind of wreath and ribbon design.  This lovely, old lamp is sold with a modern canopy with hook and convenience outlet, so that it can be hung easily and simply plugged in, making moving or temporarily removing it a cinch; also, satisfies building inspectors who must regard it as a portable and not a fixed, hard-wired appliance.  Includes new, frosted chimney.  57″ long (can be shortened).
